ORDERS

To place an order at linumdesign.com you must be at least 18 years old or have received permission from your parent/guardian. Once you have placed an order, an order acknowledgement will be sent to your e-mail address confirming the details of your order. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

When your order is dispatched from the warehouse, you will be sent a shipping confirmation.

 

OUT OF STOCK

We reserve the right not to fulfil your order if a product has run out of stock. If you have placed an order for a product that is currently unavailable, we will refund you the cost of that product.

 

PRODUCTS

We are unable to guarantee the availability of a product and that the information on our website contains no errors. We do not guarantee that the images are an exact depiction of the product and slight variations in colour may occur depending on your screen or the quality of the photo. We try our best to display our products as accurately as possible. We are always pleased to answer any questions you have about colours and sizes. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All orders are processed at our distribution centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, within two business days, subject to payment clearance and stock availability. We operate Monday through Friday, excluding Swedish public holidays.

We use Schenker and UPS as our carriers. Choice of carrier and delivery service depends on the country your order is shipped to. You will receive an e-mail containing the shipping information and a tracking number.

If UPS or Schenker fails to deliver your package, it will be returned to our warehouse in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Delivery lead times & carriers:

  • Sweden: 2-5 days – Schenker
  • Europe: 2-7 days – UPS
  • USA: 1-2 weeks – UPS

A shipment may occasionally be delayed by the customs agency of the destination country as a random security/inspection procedure. Customs delays can be as long as 6 weeks.

Track your order
Your shipping confirmation e-mail also contains forwarder details and a tracking number. This enables you to track your delivery on the forwarder’s website. If you have a question about your delivery, please contact us by e-mail at: customerservice@linumdesign.com

 

UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

If we receive a return package from a customer/recipient who has refused to accept it, we reserve the right to charge the customer for all costs incurred in connection with the return + a handling fee of SEK 200. The amount is deducted from your order total. If the cost of returning the package is more than the value of the order, the customer will not receive a refund. Customers with two or more unclaimed packages will be blocked from shopping at the website.

 

RETURNS

We want you to be happy with our products and that’s why we give you 30 days to return your order if you are not satisfied. Before opening the packaging, please check that the colour, size and style of the product match what you ordered. Shipping costs are not refunded.

EXCHANGES

The easiest way to exchange a product is to place a new order in the web shop and then return the product you want to exchange as instructed above. Shipping costs are not refunded.

CLAIMS PROCEDURE

Notify us immediately by e-mail at: customerservice@linumdesign.com

Please describe what you feel is wrong with the product and quote your order reference number. If Linum considers the product to be defective, you will receive a full refund including shipping costs.

Note: Do not return a product without first contacting our customer service. Failure to do so may mean we are unable to refund shipping costs.

 

REFUNDS  

Your refund will normally be made about two weeks after we have received the product. It may occasionally take up to 30 days, which is the maximum period under Swedish law.

 

TAXES AND DUTIES

European Union
All orders placed within the European Union will be shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, whereby all taxes and duties are included in the price at checkout.
Tax rates vary from country to country:
Germany includes VAT at 19%
The UK includes VAT at 20%
All other EU countries include Swedish VAT at 25%

Rest of the world
Your order is shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that the price displayed at checkout is exclusive of all taxes and duties as well as Swedish VAT. International orders can incur taxes and duties as assessed by the customs agency of the destination country. Although this does not always occur, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order, and any tax-free threshold that may apply, for goods imported into the destination country. The recipient is liable for the payment of any duties and taxes. This may sometimes be listed as an additional postage fee. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but unfortunately we have no control over such fees. Please contact your local customs office if you require more information.

 

PAYMENT AND SECURITY 

We use the leading technology provider Adyen to ensure secure payment of your order. When you place your order, you will be re-directed to the Adyen website to make your payment. When you have completed your payment, you will be re-directed back to our website where you will receive an order acknowledgement.

Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. When registering on the site, you have the option not to receive any information from Linum.

Cookies are used on the site to improve your browsing experience. In addition to use for statistical purposes, cookies identify your computer and allows the site to recall your personal settings. Your browser can be set to send a notification when a cookie is activated. This allows you to deny use of this cookie or to delete the cookie at the end of your visit. The web shop cannot be accessed if cookies are disabled.
