"When the days get shorter, the home blossoms in its special power: it becomes a place of retreat, a space for calm and for gathering. In these moments, it is often the details that make the difference, the colours and fabrics that surround us and of course the light that highlights shapes and textures before gently fading into shadows. The comfort of our homes reminds us to unwind, to appreciate the small moments and to see the objects that have become faithful companions over time.
Krautkopf sets the table.
At Christmas time, it can be a little more lavish despite our penchant for the minimalistic, so for our festive table we create a luxurious yet homely atmosphere. We set the table with LINUMS textiles in beautiful burgundy and dark mole brown. The color palette of the UNI placemat and runner as well as ROBERT napkins goes perfectly with the PEPPER seat cushion and cushion cover. By repeating the tones in textiles and decoration, the wonderful burgundy shade gets a subtle and powerful effect. The colour concept allows us to remain true to our beloved minimalism, despite the beautifully appealing exuberance of the textiles' tactile expression.
The naturalness of the materials is reflected in the Christmas decorations made of paper as well as in the dried flowers, through which we have brought the fragility of winter, pale shades and delicate textures, to the table. A particular highlight is the moon violet's transparent, drop-shaped seed pods, which beautifully catch the glow of the candles. To underline the festive, elegant mood, the golden details of the cutlery and the small brass bells of the napkins complete our table decoration.
Krautkopf about LINUM’S table textiles.
By actively choosing from different shades, you can create places with depth and personality that appeal to both the eye and the heart. LINUM combines function with aesthetics without being tortuous, but with a clear sense of style. It is precisely these accents that can transform our table setting into something completely individual and also give each room a special touch that suits the moment.
The textiles are more than just decoration - they create an atmosphere that effortlessly combines safety and elegance. Whether for everyday use or on more festive occasions, they give the room character without being obtrusive. A colour or a colour contrast, one detail is often enough to create a perfect mood.”
