EDITORIAL

Our stories.

LINUM’s editorials are a collection of information, inspiration and motivating reports. This is where we delve into the facts about our products and our different ranges. We complement LINUM’s own images with those of others and let industry personalities, interior stylists and customers, etc. work with LINUM’s product groups for greater variety and fresh ideas. Our editorials are split into recurring headings, which aim to generate recognition and provide an overall picture of our curated content. The material is produced exclusively for LINUM with the aim of constantly developing, educating and encouraging creative styling. Based on our desire to create products that can be used for many generations, we also hope to contribute to a genuine and lifelong joy of interior design.

LINUM’S INTERPRETATIONS

Kubel & Bylund interprets LINUM.

Together, they have over 250,000 followers on social media, where their inspirational posts have reached followers from all over the world. In the artistic platforms of Jasmina Bylund and Anna Kubel, we encounter the changes of the seasons in a beautiful and harmonious home environment. With an extra eye for textiles, it is a pleasure to introduce an interpretation from Kubel and Bylund this season. We meet Kubel and Bylund in a typical Swedish meadow landscape, where they have created an oasis for rest. We sink down among the pillows and bedspreads and let soft velvet become a comfortable base. The interpretation is like a homage to nature, where LINUM's clean product range gets to play a supporting role.

Krautkopf interprets LINUM.

It is a true pleasure to be able to present the German duo Krautkopf for a brilliantly and beautiful summer interpretation. For the photograpers, calling themselves Krautkopf on social media, the rich life in the garden is vital and their creativity in how they can use everything it has to offer, is exciting to say the least. In this article, they tell us more about their interpretation and their ambitions behind.

Kersy Loves Color interprets LINUM.

Spring has arrived and right on time, we have invited a new name to interpret our rich assortment. With a passionate relationship with color, Kerstin Diehl is the person behind the popular and Berlin-based Instagram account Kersy Loves Color.

Fanny Hamlin interprets LINUM.

In the first interpretation of 2024, interior and set designer Fanny Hamlin gives us a pleasant and low-key photo series in collaboration with Joakim Rolandsson. The look is a great fit for January, a month that often celebrates a slower pace of life.

Christina Breeze interprets LINUM.

This year's final interpretation features Christina Breeze, a well-established profile in Swedish interior design. Together with photographer Idha Lindhag, they invite us to spend a lovely day in the bedroom or, as Christina herself puts it, "in bed all day." Christina’s main focus is textiles and we encounter a soft framework in which new colour combinations inspire.

Sebastian Bergström interprets LINUM.

We’ve just launched this autumn's big cushion covers campaign, and the spotlight is on LINUM's most beloved products, such as PEPPER, ANNABELL and SHEPARD. LINUM has been an industry leader in colour for many decades, and that’s something writer and colour enthusiast Sebastian Bergström has taken note of in his interpretation of our range.

Papini & Gantelius interprets LINUM.

Over the course of the year, photographer Andrea Papini has interpreted LINUM on many occasions, each as inspiring as the next. At the beginning of the year, we published his incredible work from the Audo Hotel in Copenhagen, brought to life in collaboration with stylist MarieGraunbøl. Then in the spring, it was time again for another collaboration, this time with stylist Daniella Witte. Regarding this autumn’s velvet campaign, we asked Andrea if he’d like to take on LINUM’s most popular collection? We barely had to ask.

Slotte & Borg interprets LINUM; 2.

The success from 2020 continues and this season we are once again letting people from the creative industry interpret our product range. As part of our campaign for the popular INTERMEZZO-collection, Swedish writers Emily Slotte and Caroline Borg have made a strong contribution.

Johanna Berglund/Snickarglädjen interprets LINUM.

Johanna Berglund is a multi-tasker in the true sense of the word. She works with everything from soil, paint cans and wooden planks. Her day revolves around projects in building maintenance, home furnishings and gardening. She runs no less than three Instagram accounts, not to mention a Youtube channel where she documents what she does. This spring, she has put her own stamp on the PEPPER seat cushion.

LINUM meets; Elin Lannsjö.

It's been a few years since we last greeted writer and entrepreneur Elin Lannsjö at her cosy allotment. For those of you who are already familiar with Elin via her popular Instagram account and blog on ELLE Decoration, know that early summer is a busy time to say the least. One day a couple of weeks ago we knocked on her door for a coffee and a quick chat.

LINUM meets; Ragnar Ómarsson.

Every year, LINUM collaborates with a few hand-picked photographers and stylists, whose assignments are carefully honed over time. With each new season, the specification is refined to reflect our two main collections in the best way possible. In this particular work, it is the eye of photographer Ragnar Ómarsson that is the key to success.

LINUM meets; Linnéa Salmén.

LINUM will be rephotographing the much-loved PAOLO collection in 2023. The team behind the camera is photographer Ragnar Ómarsson and stylist Linnéa Salmén. The duo have known each other for some time, but for LINUM, the first meeting was with Linnéa. We therefore took the opportunity to talk to her in more detail.

Did you know that LINUM has its own color code system? An advanced matrix of codes that ensures that our nuances tally over time.

LINUM relaunches MIDSUMMER pattern.

After a few years of absence, the MIDSUMMER pattern is back on LINUM. The cushion cover is designed by Mathias Elovsson and features the most beloved flowers of the Swedish archipelago.

The return of the tablescape.

In the early 2000s, the height of fashion was to forego table settings entirely. Editorial after editorial brought us cold concrete surfaces, bare tabletops and austere stylings of stark barns, industrial spaces and all-but empty rooms. With kitchen- and tableware one of our strongest product lines, we at LINUM have long been a brand to reckon with when it comes to dinner parties. Which is why there is probably no one more excited than us to see styled table settings finally make their return. Our long experience in kitchen and dining room décor has helped us to develop a good feel for what makes for a successful dining experience. In this post, we share some of our top tips.
