To follow are LINUM's general terms and conditions for when customers making a purchase on linumdesign.com.
1. Definitions of Parties
The following terms and conditions ("the Agreement" below) are designed for e-commerce. LINUM AB (company registration number: 556105-3215) constitutes the Selling Party. You (the "Customer" below) are the Purchasing Party.
The terms of the following Agreement are intended for individuals over the age of 18 and for the sale of goods ("Products" below).
For further clarification, the date of publication of the Agreement is indicated in the title. If the Agreement has been modified, an end date will be specified. If an end date is specified, the Agreement will be valid until 23:59 on the day the Agreement expires. The Customer will be given the opportunity to accept the Terms and Conditions when you place your order.
Any terms or parts of this Agreement that deviate from the law have no effect unless the deviation works to the benefit of the Customer. This provision only applies if the Customer is a private individual and the purchase is for personal consumption only.
In order to shop at linumdesign.com, you must be at least 18 years old or have received written permission from your parent or guardian.
You can shop for products easily and conveniently linumdesign.com. We offer secure payment options and deliveries. LINUM AB will receive your order when you click on the "Pay" button at checkout. Once your payment is approved you will receive your order confirmation by email.
2.2 Purchase process
When you place your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your specified email address with information. The order confirmation also acts as your receipt, so please save it.
If something is wrong with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once we send the order confirmation, the Parties enter into the Agreement. If it is impossible for LINUM AB to deliver your order, we will contact you immediately. If possible, we will offer you an alternative solution and, in so far as you accept it, a new Agreement will commence.
Delivery confirmation and tracking information.
Once your order is packed and dispatched from the warehouse, you will receive a delivery confirmation to your email address. An additional email will be sent to you from the Unifaun transport management system with tracking information about your package.
2.3 Cancelling or changing an order.
If you have any questions about your order or would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Use or include the same email address that you used when you placed your order, as well as your order number. Contact us at: email@example.com
To cancel an order, you must notify LINUM AB before the order has been packaged. Unfortunately, we are not able to change any of the current products or quantities in your order. If you wish to do so, we recommend that you cancel your order as described above and re-do your purchase at linumdesign.com.
3. Prices, VAT and customs
3.1 VAT and customs.
European Union (EU):
For all orders placed within the European Union, the prices include the VAT applicable in the respective country. Orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all taxes and customs duties are included in the total price at checkout.
For orders going to Norway, prices include 25% Norwegian VAT.
LINUM AB is registered under VOEC (VAT On E-commerce) rules, which means that Norwegian individuals do not have to pay customs duties when trading with a Swedish business up to a value of NOK 3,000 per item. Orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all taxes and customs duties are included in the total price at checkout.
For orders to GB, prices are inclusive of 20% VAT plus customs/duty. Orders are shipped on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all taxes and customs duties are included in the total price at checkout.
For purchases to the US up to an order value of USD 800, the order is exempt from VAT and duty. Orders are shipped based on DDP (Delivery Duty Paid), which means that all taxes and duties are included in the total price at checkout.
Other countries outside the EU:
Your order is shipped based on DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), which means that the total price shown at checkout is excluding taxes and duties and Swedish VAT.
International orders may be subject to taxes and charges determined by the customs authorities of the country of destination. Although this is not always the case, the assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and any threshold for duty-free purchases for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of customs duties and taxes is therefore the responsibility of the recipient. Sometimes this may be specified as an additional postage charge. Unfortunately, LINUM AB has no control or influence over these types of charges, and it is up to each customer outside the EU to adapt to the regulatory framework of their specific country. More details can be obtained through your local customs office.
3.2 Offers and promotions.
Special offers and promotions advertised on linumdesign.com are valid for as long as the promotion is ongoing and stock is sufficient. LINUM AB reserves the right to cancel promotions early and/or replace their content.
We reserve the right to make any price changes, to technical problems or other communication errors, and reserve the right to adjust our prices without notice.
4. Products and range
Swedish environmental and safety regulations form the standard for how the products are developed. For more information regarding country of manufacture and other standards, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
4.2 Colours and product range.
We do our best to display our products as accurately as possible. Since colour perception may vary depending on the screen on which it is displayed, we cannot guarantee that the colours on your particular screen match the actual product. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee that the information in our webshop is error-free, so we welcome questions or feedback regarding colour shades and any other matters at: email@example.com
4.3 Stock status
If a Product is marked "Coming Soon", the Product will be back in stock.
Out of stock
If a Product is marked as "Out of stock", the Product will not come back into stock.

5.1 Provider of payment solutions and payment methods.
LINUM AB uses the well-established supplier ADYEN to ensure secure payment of your order. The webshop uses the 3D-secure security solution for card payments. Through ADYEN checkout, we offer different payment solutions depending on the country you are in.

Once you have completed your payment, you will be seamlessly and automatically directed back to our webshop where you will receive an order confirmation. You will also receive your order confirmation by email.
5.2 Credit and debit cards.
LINUM AB offers credit and debit services through the ADYEN payment service. ADYEN is qualified with PCI DDS certification and 3D-secure. Your credit and debit card details are transferred and stored securely and encrypted. Your card will be charged once you have completed your order.
The following are the debit cards that can be used: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CARTES BANCAIRES.

5.3 Payment via Paypal account.
Pay quickly and securely with PAYPAL. You can choose to pay with your PAYPAL credit or with a credit or debit card connected to your PAYPAL account. For more details, visit PAYPAL here.
5.4 Payment via online banking.
LINUM AB gives you the option to pay for your order via direct bank payment. You can safely login to your internet banking using your mobile banking ID, to make your payment. The services that can be used are as follows: SWISH, GIROPAY, SOFORT, PAYTRAIL, VIPPS.

5.5 Payment via Klarna.
In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.
Pay in 14 days: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/availability date of the service.
Financing: With the financing service from Klarna you can pay your purchase in flexible or fixed monthly instalments according to the conditions stated in the checkout. The instalment payment is due at the end of each month after submission of a separate monthly invoice by Klarna. Further information regarding Slice It including terms and conditions and Standard European Consumer Credit Information you can find here for the markets where this payment method is available.
The payment methods Pay in 14 days, Slice It and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.
6. Shipping and delivery
6.1 Shipping process.
All orders are processed at our distribution centre in Gothenburg within two working days, subject to payment approval and stock availability. The warehouse handles incoming orders from Monday to Friday, excluding Swedish holidays.
Once your order is packed and dispatched from the warehouse, you will receive a delivery confirmation to your email address. An additional email will be sent to you from the Unifaun transport management system with tracking information about your package. Please take care to enter the correct email address related to your order and check your email client's spam filter if you have not received your order confirmation.
When your package is ready to be delivered, you will receive a text notification. The package is delivered either to a parcel collection point near the address you specified when you ordered your products or to your door depending on the destination.
6.2 Shipping costs.
Sweden: 79 SEK (DHL and Budbee Box) 99 SEK (Budbee Home) and free shipping on orders over 999 SEK.
Norway: 99 NOK and free shipping on orders over 999 NOK.
Denmark: 79 DKK and free shipping on orders over 999 DKK.
Rest of Europe and Switzerland: 9 EUR and free shipping on orders over 99 EUR.
USA: 29 USD.
UK: 9 GBP and free shipping on orders over 99 GBP.

6.3 Delivery time and carriers.
Within Sweden: LINUM AB will ship your order by DHL or a Budbee of your choice when you place your order.
With the DHL Pick Up delivery method, you get your package delivered to your chosen delivery point and you will be notified by text or mail when your shipment has arrived at your chosen delivery point.
Other countries: We will ship your order by UPS Standard Delivery.
For more information, contact your local UPS office or visit: www.ups.com. A delivery may sometimes be delayed by the customs authorities of the country of destination as a random security/inspection procedure. LINUM AB cannot influence or be held responsible for this.
6.4 Risk of loss.
During transport, LINUM AB will be responsible for the order until it reaches you. The risk of loss passes to the Customer as soon as the order has been delivered or picked up.
6.5 Unretrieved packages.
If the carrier is unable to deliver your package, it will be returned to LINUM AB's warehouse in Gothenburg, Sweden.
LINUM AB always records the IP address at the time of purchase. If we receive a package back from a Customer/recipient who has refused delivery, we reserve the right to charge the Customer for any costs incurred and add a handling fee of SEK 200/NOK 200/DKK 200/EUR 20/USD 20. The fee is automatically deducted from the amount paid for the order. If the cost of handling is higher than the Customer's order value, no money will be refunded to the Customer. If the Customer has more than two unloaded packages, the Customer will be blocked from shopping at linumdesign.com
7. Returns and refunds
LINUM AB has a high proportion of international customers and therefore offers a 30-day open purchase.
We are unable to exchange one product for another. However, you can always return the product(s) according to the instructions above and then place a new order. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving your return via the same payment method you selected when you made your purchase.

8. Cancellation rights
LINUM AB wants you to feel satisfied with the products you buy on linumdesign.com. That’s why we give you a 30-day right to cancel from the day you receive your order.
A customer entering into an Agreement as an individual has the right to cancel the Agreement without reason under the Act On Distance Contracts And Off-Premises Contracts (2005: 59). The right to cancel does not apply to customers who enter into the Agreement as a business.
All goods in the order must be delivered for the time limit for the right to cancel to begin. If delivery takes place at different times, the deadline starts when the last part of the order is delivered.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify LINUM AB within 30 days of the receipt of the product(s) in your possession. To do so, follow the instructions in shipping, delivery and returns. Read more in General Terms and Conditions - 7. Returns & Refunds.

In order for the right to cancel to be valid, the order must be returned in a substantially unchanged condition. This means that you are not entitled to use the product any more than to examine it. By law, when you cancel one item or several items, the Customer is obliged to return all products to LINUM AB and pay for the return shipping. LINUM AB always has the right to grant more generous terms than required by law.
When notified that the product has been returned, or when the product has arrived at LINUM AB, we will refund you within 14 days. If you return fewer products than the total order, you will only be refunded for the products you have returned.
Certain products are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Act On Distance Contracts And Off-Premises Contracts (2005: 59) e.g. products that have been manufactured or modified/adjusted at the request of the Customer or have otherwise acquired a special characteristic.

9. Complaints and warranties
9.1 Complaint instructions.
If you notice that an item is not of good quality, please notify us as soon as possible by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include the following in your email to us:
- A description of what is wrong with the product and one or more images that clearly show the problem.
- If possible, please take a picture of the paper label attached to the product so that we can trace where the fault may have occurred.
- Enter the order number, the date the purchase was made, and the email address used when you placed your order.
We will try to process your return as soon as possible. Please note that it may take up to seven working days to assess your return. If LINUM AB considers the product to be defective, you will receive a full refund including shipping costs. Further information on LINUM's complaints policy can be found here.
NOTE: Do not send the item you wish to complain about to LINUM without first contacting LINUM customer services and having your complaint approved. If you do not contact LINUM customer services first, unfortunately, we may not be able to process your complaint and reimburse you for the shipping costs.
9.2 Terms and conditions for complaints.
A Customer who has purchased a Product as an individual has the right to file a Product Complaint and return the Product if it is defective under the Consumer Purchase Act (1990: 932) and the Consumer Services Act (1985: 716). The law covers all original defects occurring within 3 years of receipt of the product. The warranty also covers defects that have occurred during shipping and transportation (see below: 9.3 Complaints due to damage in transport).
The fault should be reported as soon as possible after it is discovered. Reporting a fault within 2 years of receipt of the Product is always considered to be a reasonable time. The Customer must provide a description of what is perceived to be defective, so that LINUM AB can take a position on the information. The Customer must also contact LINUM AB regarding a potential delay of information.
In the case of an accepted complaint, LINUM AB shall bear all costs including shipping. A product that does not comply with the Agreement you have entered into with LINUM AB or is otherwise defective will be considered a defect and cause for complaint. Defects in a product caused by the Customer's negligent handling are not considered original and are therefore not eligible for a complaint.
If you the Customer advertises a defective product two (2) years or later from the delivery date, it is your responsibility to prove that the product had an original defect. LINUM AB therefore recommends that you inspect the product(s) upon delivery and report any defects as soon as they are discovered.
When you complain about a defective product, you have the right to have the defect corrected or to have a product free of defects insofar as LINUM AB still has the product in its range. In some cases, you have the right to terminate the Agreement and cancel your purchase with a full refund right. Once a complaint has been accepted, you will not be liable for any costs incurred as a result of the complaint, such as the freight cost of returning your order to LINUM AB. Please note that the Customer, has an obligation to minimise possible handling costs if a product is found to be defective.
9.3 Complaints about defects occurring during transport.
All products are carefully checked and packaged by LINUM AB's warehouses. If you receive a damaged package, take a clear picture of the damage and contact LINUM AB as soon as possible. Damage during transport should be reported within 5 working days of receipt of the package. Subsequently reported damages are not recognised by the carrier. So always check the goods immediately upon receipt.

LINUM AB follows the recommendations of the General Complaints Board (ARN) and the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR).

All data, such as personal data or other information as part of a document provided by the Customer to LINUM AB, will be stored and processed in digital form. LINUM AB is responsible for storing and handling such data in accordance with the Swedish Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The information will be used by LINUM AB to enable and ensure compliance with the Agreement. When you place an order on LINUM AB, you accept LINUM AB's data processing policy.

10.2 Personal data stored.
Name, address, email address, telephone number, social security number and purchase history at LINUM AB.
The data may be shared with third parties and used for the purposes listed below:
- A partner for payment services for the purpose of ensuring the performance of the Agreement.
- A partner for logistics (transport) to ensure compliance with the Agreement.
10.3 Data registers.
If you have entered into this Agreement as a private individual, you have the right to request access to your register once a year at no charge. The register consists of the data we have collected from you. You can request your details by sending a signed request to the address given above. If the data is incorrect, incomplete or misleading, we will correct it.
10.4 De-registration of customer data.
Customers may submit a written and signed request to have their customer data deleted from LINUM AB, subject to the data necessary for LINUM AB to maintain proper accounting.
10.5 Your rights and choices.
You have the right to your personal data and you control your data and decide what to keep. The Company will, on its own initiative or at the initiative of the Customer, correct information found to be incorrect. You can also request the deletion of your information or the restriction of its use at any time by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are concerned that we are not respecting your rights, please contact us or the Swedish Data Protection Authority (email@example.com).
You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in the emails and text messages we send you. You are always welcome to contact our Customer Service for assistance in rejecting communications from us.
The right to object and to data portability.
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. In such cases, if you object to the processing, LINUM AB is only entitled to continue to process the data if it can be demonstrated that there are compelling legitimate reasons for the data to be processed that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing is for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
You have the right to data portability, which means you have the right to obtain the personal data we provide in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
Cookies are small text files that websites place in a browser the Customer may use to view the selected website.
Our cookies store information about your usage and the pages you have visited. This may include technical details about your device and internet connection, such as operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies and unique identifiers. When you visit our webshop where our services are provided, various technologies may be used to recognise visitors in order to learn more about our users. This can be done directly or through the use of third-party technology (third-party technology).

12. Fulfilment of the Agreement
LINUM AB will fulfil the Agreement when the Customer receives an order confirmation by email. When you receive/pick up your order, LINUM AB has fulfilled its part of the Agreement. Once the Customer has completed payment and received the Products ordered under the Agreement, the contents of the Agreement are complete.
13.1 Reservation of the right to cancel.
LINUM AB has the right to terminate the Agreement if the Customer has purchased a Product which, for obvious reasons, should not have been sold or where there was a clear defect, such as incorrect prices or quantities. If the Agreement is breached as a result, the Customer is not entitled to compensation or other compensation from LINUM AB.
13.2 Reservation to make changes.
LINUM AB reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the content of linumdesign.com, which includes, but is not limited to, ranges, prices and promotions. The changes do not affect agreements already concluded between LINUM AB and the Customer.
LINUM AB shall not be held liable for obligations under this Agreement if liability would have arisen as a result of events outside the Agreement, the activities of LINUM AB or otherwise prescribed by law.
14.1 Force Majeure.
In the event of government action or new legislation, industrial disputes, war or threat of war, major disturbance of public order, sabotage, extreme weather, fire, explosion, natural disaster, accident or other circumstances beyond LINUM AB's control and which LINUM AB has not been reasonably able to overcome or foresee, LINUM AB shall not be liable for its obligations under this Agreement. In such an event, LINUM AB will not be liable for any damages incurred by the Customer.
14.2 External links.
LINUM AB is not responsible for any damage or problems with the Customer's soft or hardware that occur when a Customer uses external links published on linumdesign.com
14.3 Non-liability for price fluctuations or other trade barriers.
In the case of price fluctuations or other barriers to trade, because of the lack of a necessary component, for which LINUM AB cannot reasonably be held liable under this Agreement, LINUM AB has the right to terminate the Agreement. In such an event, the Customer is not entitled to receive financial or other compensation from LINUM AB.
14.4 Disclaimer of liability for tax and fee changes.
In the event of substantial tax or fee changes, which are of major importance to this Agreement, LINUM AB has the right to terminate the Agreement. In such cases, the Customer is not entitled to receive financial or other compensation from LINUM AB.
14.5 Disclaimer of liability for delayed delivery outside the control of LINUM AB.
If a delivery is delayed, caused by an event beyond the control of LINUM AB, LINUM AB shall not be held responsible for the damage caused by the delay in delivery. In such an event, the Customer is not entitled to receive financial or other compensation from LINUM AB unless otherwise agreed between the Customer and LINUM AB or other provisions applicable by law.
LINUM AB will report any fraud and or attempted fraud to the police.
15.2 Differences between publications.
If there are any discrepancies between different publications, the information last published will take precedence. Please note that this will not be the case if the information is clearly incorrect or misleading when compared to other publications.
15.3 Intellectual property rights, logos, trademarks.
All materials published on linumdesign.com, including software, logos, audio files, trademarks, text and images, are protected by intellectual property. That protection means that the material may not be used without the consent of the right holder, that the material may not be copied or otherwise transferred to a third party without the express consent of LINUM AB.
Action will be taken against all violations.
15.4 Purpose of the information.
All information on linumdesign.com, regardless of format, has been published for information purposes only, so that the visitor can use the webshop. LINUM AB is not responsible for any impact or damage that may occur if the information is used for any purpose other than the above.
