PAOLO Bedspread
PAOLO is LINUM’S best-selling bedspread, as velvet has long been a highly sought-after quality. Unlike simpler alternatives, PAOLO is made from organic cotton, which gives the bedspread a natural and exclusive sheen. The bedspread features several carefully crafted details that have been sewn by hand. Please note that the filling is made of polyester.
PAOLO has been part of the range for a long time, and the color options have varied over the years. The series includes options for both double and single beds. For those who prefer a smaller and lighter alternative, there is also PICCOLO, which is well-suited for different bed widths depending on placement.
The collection also includes cushion covers designed to match the bedspreads and create a hotel-inspired feel in the home. Inner cushions are available for a complete solution. PAOLO also matches other cushion covers and textiles in the range, offering great opportunities for personal and creative styling. The series also includes curtains and is intended to function as a complete solution for the bedroom or living room.
Please note that velvet attracts dust and hair more easily than other materials, which can be easily removed with, for example, a lint roller or a vacuum cleaner with a textile nozzle. Velvet is also sensitive to pressure, so avoid having the product compressed. Minor variations between different product models may occur, as the dyeing process is a craft using natural materials.

Washing instructions for the PAOLO collection
- All products included in the velvet program can be machine washed at 30°C.
- Wash them separately in spacious cycles to avoid pressure from other items. Pressure from other products may cause streaks or marks in the velvet since the fabric has a very short pile that can be compressed.
- Cushion covers should be turned inside out and the zipper closed as much as possible.
- Bedspreads may dry hanging, but with the smooth side facing inward, while cushion covers and curtains should dry flat. Note that the fabric is sensitive to pressure and marks may occur from clotheslines or clothespins. No products in the collection can be tumble dried.
LINUM’s assortment consists exclusively of products made from natural materials, with the exception of synthetic inner cushions and the padding in the seat cushions. When a product is made from 100% cotton, silk, linen or similar materials, the thread may vary in thickness and variations in the fabric are therefore not uncommon. Colors may also fade over time. Natural materials generally have very high durability, but since their fibers originate from plants, a product may require more care and gentler handling than items made from synthetic materials.
