PAOLO Cushion cover
The PAOLO cushion cover is a classic LINUM design that has seen great success both at home and abroad. A big part of the design’s popularity is due to its versatility, being an item that can grace both bedrooms and living rooms. Many are impressed by its luxurious look and soft feel, which also make it a popular choice for children’s bedrooms and guest rooms. The cushion cover in 40×60 cm features piping, a folded and sewn edge and has 100% organic cotton velvet on both the front and back.
The PAOLO collection includes three types of cushion covers, a classic square measuring 50×50 cm, a 50×90 cm cushion specially designed for beds, and a 40×60 cm cushion cover for both the living room and the bedroom. The range also includes the classic bedspreads for double beds, single beds and curtains. Our INTERMEZZO linen curtain collection is made to the same muted colour palette as PAOLO, making it much easier to achieve tonally coordinated interiors. PAOLO also matches the SETA and SILK silk covers, a great option when you want to create a more lively styling.
As a LINUM customer, it’s always your choice if you want to purchase an cushion insert for your cover. LINUM offers a choice of feather or synthetic cushion inserts, and all cushion cover sizes have a matching cushion insert.
Please note that velvet can attract more dust and pet hairs, for example, than other materials, but this is easily fixed with a lint roller or a vacuum cleaner with an appropriate nozzle for textiles. Velvet is also sensitive to pressure, avoid crushing.

Washing instructions for the PAOLO collection
- All products included in the velvet program can be machine washed at 30°C.
- Wash them separately in spacious cycles to avoid pressure from other items. Pressure from other products may cause streaks or marks in the velvet since the fabric has a very short pile that can be compressed.
- Cushion covers should be turned inside out and the zipper closed as much as possible.
- Bedspreads may dry hanging, but with the smooth side facing inward, while cushion covers and curtains should dry flat. Note that the fabric is sensitive to pressure and marks may occur from clotheslines or clothespins. No products in the collection can be tumble dried.
LINUM’s assortment consists exclusively of products made from natural materials, with the exception of synthetic inner cushions and the padding in the seat cushions. When a product is made from 100% cotton, silk, linen or similar materials, the thread may vary in thickness and variations in the fabric are therefore not uncommon. Colors may also fade over time. Natural materials generally have very high durability, but since their fibers originate from plants, a product may require more care and gentler handling than items made from synthetic materials.
