UNI Placemat
UNI is a useful series consisting of runners and placemats in classic ribbed quality. The UNI placemat protects the tablecloth or table from stains and is made from easy-care and practical cotton that is machine washable at 40°C. The placemat has standard dimensions of 35×46 cm and is sold in packs of 4.
The series comes in a rich color scheme, which opens up endless combination possibilities. Mix and match placemats and runners in different shades or go for a monochrome style and set the table with textiles in the same color. Since 2020, the UNI placemat and runner also match ROBERT, a practical napkin made of 100% cotton and sold in convenient 4-packs. The aim is to be able to style an entire table tone-on-tone. Of course, it is also perfectly fine to choose a contrasting color or make a selection based on the current season.
UNI and ROBERT now also match the PEPPER collection. This means that an entire kitchen, dining room, balcony, patio, or similar can be decorated in the same shade. As a producer, we want to offer a color for every moment and create a rich code matrix, useful across generations.
Wash the placemats separately and be sure to stretch out the ribs after washing. UNI should be dried flat and should not be tumble dried as it may shrink.

Washing instructions for UNI runner and UNI placemat
- UNI placemats and runners are made with a classic ribbed structure and are preferably machine washed at 40°C.
- Placemats and runners should not be folded when placed in the washing machine, but kept as flat as possible.
- Wash the products separately and not together with other items, as a more spacious wash helps maintain the product’s shape. When the washing program is finished, stretch the products gently by hand to preserve the structure. Do not tumble dry. The products should air dry on a flat surface and can preferably be ironed while still slightly damp, which gives them more firmness and allows them to lie better on the table.
LINUM’s assortment consists exclusively of products made from natural materials, with the exception of synthetic inner cushions and the padding in the seat cushions. When a product is made from 100% cotton, silk, linen or similar materials, the thread may vary in thickness and variations in the fabric are therefore not uncommon. Colors may also fade over time. Natural materials generally have very high durability, but since their fibers originate from plants, a product may require more care and gentler handling than items made from synthetic materials.
