The PEPPER seat cushion is one of our best-selling and best-loved products of all time. For decades this tactile cotton seat cushion has accompanied customers from home to home, and it isn’t so unusual for it to pass from generation to generation, too. Now, as we present our big spring campaign – which happens to feature the seat cushion in three practical sizes – our desire for the great Swedish outdoors has got the better of us.

Mats Lindfors is a photographer who specialises in archipelago and coastal landscapes. His images appeared in one of our previous editorials on Stockholm’s Gamla Stan, but his beautiful landscape photographs are what we tend to linger over. After months of staying in as a result of the coronavirus’s spread in spring 2020, the approaching summer is perhaps more eagerly awaited than ever.

PEPPER is available in over twenty colours, which creates endless possibilities – even for the most discerning. The colour palette is partly made up of classic and more subtle tones, with greys offset by white, black and beige. However, much like our irresistible Swedish archipelagos, the varieties of colour are in fact so much richer: we also see the heather’s tender pinks, endless greenery, and the typical reds of houses. These are clearly what have inspired us, and nature’s own spectra follow us right through production.



PEPPER seat cushion is available in the size 40x40x3 cm, and the cushion cover in the sizes 40×40 cm, 50×50 cm and 60×60 cm. PEPPER is made for a life lived, and is therefore washable at 60°C. Besides its breadth of colourways, PEPPER’s versatility is its absolute strength, and we have seen it grace kitchens and living rooms, mountain cabins and summerhouses, boat decks, balconies and terraces. It is, in short, a versatile, accessible product, and our guess is that therein lies the secret to PEPPER’s huge success.
