Terms and conditions – Sweden


The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) are valid between you and Linum AB (Reg. No. 556105-3215) (“Linum”; may be referred to as “us” and “we”) and apply to all orders placed on Linum’s website linumdesign.com (the “Website”).

Please note that orders can only be placed by private individuals above the age of 18 who reside in Sweden at the time of the placement of the order.

Linum reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions.

Please note that the Terms and Conditions valid for your order is always the version of the Terms and Conditions that you have read and accepted before you have placed your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.


The language of the Terms and Conditions is English.


Before you place your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any input errors.

If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.

By placing an order on the Website, you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept them. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order.

Linum receives your order when you click the “Pay for my order now” – button in the checkout. When Linum has received your order, you will receive an e-mail with your “Order Confirmation” with your order number, details of the product you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation e-mail is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order.

Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation is our acceptance of your order.


Please note that Linum does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or are available for purchase at the time of your order. If it should be impossible for us to deliver you order we will contact you shortly, by phone or by e-mail. In that case we will offer you a different product, provided that it is possible. If you do not want a different product, we will refund you the amount of the purchase if we already have received payment from you.

Linum preserves its right to stop selling a product.

Special offers and promotions that are advertised on the Website are valid until stock lasts unless other terms are stated in the offer.


The products displayed on the Website are reflecting the products’ colors and other qualities as lifelike as possible. However, please note that due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures on the Website can differ somewhat from their actual colors. Linum cannot guarantee that the colors on your screen exactly will match the colors of the products.


The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website include VAT. The prices may vary between the physical store and the Website.

The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website may vary from time to time and Linum is not bound by the price until Linum has accepted the order by sending the shipping confirmation to you.

Linum always reserves the right to cancel any order prior to our acceptance of the order. If we already have received payment for a cancelled order we will refund you the amount of the purchase.

Please also note the Linum may cancel the order even if it has been accepted by Linum under the condition that you realize or should have realized that the price information was incorrect.

The delivery costs are shown in connection with the shipping methods at the checkout stage.


The following payments are accepted: credit-, debit card, direct bank payment, Paypal and Klarna invoice.


Linum offers credit-, and debit via the payment service Ayden. Adyen is authorized with PCI DDS certification. Your credit-, debit card details will be transferred and stored securely and encrypted. Your card will be charged when you complete your order, credit-, debit is available with the following card types: Visa, MasterCard, American Express (Amex), Maestro, Discovery and Diners Club.


Linum offers you to pay for your order with direct banking. You can safely log in to your internet bank to make your payment. The Services that can be used are the following: Trustly, ELV, SEPA, GiroPay, Sofort, DotPay, Finnish E-banking.

Trustly supports most Swedish banks and gives you the option of completing your payment safe and easy through your internet bank.


Pay faster and more secure using PayPal. You can choose to pay with your Pay-Pal Credit or through a credit -, debit card connected to your PayPal account. For more information visit www.paypal.com.


When you pay through Klarna invoice payment you shop safe and easy. You never have to state your credit-, or debit card details, and you always pay after you have received your order.

Please note that when invoice payment with Klarna is chosen your shipping address needs to be your registered residence.


8.1 Shipping method

All orders are processed at our distribution center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Dispatch of orders may take up to 7 business days but we aim to dispatch all orders within 2 business days, or 5 business days during sales periods and peak season. Please note that delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and commence from the date of dispatch. We operate Monday through Friday with exception for public holidays. The delivery times do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. If Linum fails to deliver within 30 days, you may have the right to cancel the purchase.

We use DHL as our carrier. You can choose to receive the delivery at your nearest DHL Service point or delivery to your home. You will receive a SMS prior to the delivery where you have the possibility to make this choice. For home deliveries DHL operates during business hours which normally mean Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Your order can not be left without a signature so please choose a shipping address where you will be available during business hours, such as your work place/office. Note that DHL don’t deliver to post boxes.

Please note that, if you have chosen invoice payment with Klarna an alternative shipping address cannot be used. If you won’t be at home, please choose another payment option.

If DHL fails to deliver your package it will be returned to our warehouse in Rotterdam.

8.2 Shipping costs

Sweden: 49 SEK and free shipping on orders over 1000 SEK.

8.3 Track your order

In the e-mail with your shipping confirmation you will find details regarding the forwarder i.e. DHL and tracking number. This enables you to track your delivery through the forwarders homepage www.DHL.com. If you have a question concerning a delivery, contact us by sending an e-mail to:info@linumdesign.com.

8.4 Unclaimed packages

If we receive packages from a customer/recipient who has refused the package sent them, we reserve the right to charge the customer for all the costs incurred in such return + a handling cost of SEK 200. The money is deducted from the amount paid for the order. If the cost of re-dispatch higher than the customers’ order value no money will be refunded to the customer. If the customer has more than two unclaimed package the customer will be blocked from shopping at the Website.


You have a 14-days legal cancellation right according to the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (SFS 2005:59). This means that you are entitled to cancel your purchase your product by submitting or sending notice thereof to Linum within 14 days of the date on which you have received the product. The notice may be sent in different ways. Preferably, you can use the return form found together with your delivery note in the package but you can also use the standard form that can be found at Konsumentverket’s website www.konsumentverket.se.

Please note that you of course do not need to use the special form but may send us a letter to the above-referenced mailing or an e-mail to our e-mail address info@linumdesign.com including information that you will cancel your purchase. If you send us an e-mail we will send you a confirmation upon receiving your notice. Please always refer to your order number in your communication with us. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records.

Refund relating to the cancellation

Linum will pay the refund within 14 days of the date on which we have received your notice of cancellation, under the condition that Linum has received the product/s from you or if Linum has obtained proof that the products have been sent back to Linum. The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase if you do not explicitly accept another method. You will not be charged extra if another payment method is used.

Please note that Linum only issues a full refund if the product/s is in the same conditions as at the time of delivery. If the products’ value has diminished due to your handling of the products to a greater extent than is necessary in order to ascertain its characteristics or function, you have an obligation to reimburse us. Thus, Linum then has the right to withhold such amount of the refund.

To avoid a deduction, please make sure the product you wish to refund is in the exact same condition as when you received them, with tag and seal still attached.


If you wish to exchange a product please cancel your purchase as described in this section 9 and then place a new order on the Website. The new order is paid for separately and will be handled as a new order.

Shipping costs for returning the products

Please note that you have to pay for the shipping cost for returning the products in accordance with your cancellation and exchange right.

Returning the products

Upon your cancellation of your purchase, please return the product/s as soon as reasonably practicable but no later than 14 days after sending your notice.

When returning Linum recommends that you always pack the product in the same way and in the same packaging as when the products where sent to you.

Please follow the steps below.

  • Place the product(s) in the original shipping box/bag, or any other solid carton box or plastic bag.
  • Fill in the return form found together with your delivery note and place it in the package.
  • Close the box or bag and tape it securely.
  • Place the return address on the box over the prior delivery information.
  • Return at your nearest delivery point.

Please note that you bear the risk for the products until it has been delivered to Linum. Thus, you should always keep a copy of your shipping receipt for your own records.


If you receive defective products, please notify us immediately. According to the Consumer Act (1990: 932) you are entitled to complain about defective products within three years. However, you must always notify Linum within a reasonable time after you have detected that the products are defective. Please send the notification to our address Linum AB Returns, Customer Service, Östermalmsgatan 87A, 114 59 Stockholm, Sweden or e-mail us at info@linumdesign.com. Please always describe why you consider the product to be defective and please remember to refer to your order number. If Linum consider the products to be defective, Linum will make a full refund including shipping costs. Please see more information about your legal consumer rights in the Consumer Act (1990: 932).

When returning the defective product, Linum recommends that you always pack the product in the same way and in the same packaging as when the products where sent to you.

Linum’s liabilities to you are limited in each separate case to these Terms and Conditions unless otherwise is stipulated by law. In no case whatsoever will Linum assume any liability for indirect damages such as loss of profit or in case of force majeure such as government action or omission, new legislation, labor conflict, war or threat of war, major disruptions of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, natural disaster, accident or other circumstances beyond Linum’s control and which Linum could not reasonably have overcome or anticipate.

Linum’s liabilities to you will never exceed your total purchase amount for each order.

In case of force majeure, Linum’s obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and Linum can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Linum.


If any part of these Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination shall not invalidate any other provision of these Terms and Conditions; instead the invalid terms and conditions shall be replaced with other terms in order to give effect to the commercial intentions of these Terms and Conditions.


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sweden (excluding the international sale of goods act). Any disputes pertaining to these Terms and Conditions will be exclusively referred to the district court of Stockholm, as the court of first instance.
